Description of the GP:
User innovations place the needs and behavior of the end user at the heart of the innovation design processes. This user-led approach is applicable to any form of innovation and is one of the priorities of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur’s Regional Innovation Strategy.
Since 2008, the regional programme PACA Labs supports innovation dynamics through user innovation by involving local entrepreneurs, institutions of research and higher education as well as user communities who wish to set up experimental projects. The PACA Labs programme makes users active participants in innovation activities and allows to develop with them new concepts, products and services that truly meet their needs.

For the period 2014-2020 PACA Labs programme has three main features:
